This site is designed to help you develop your academic reading and writing language skills. The site contains activities designed to specifically help you prepare for the IELTS Academic Writing Tasks 1 and 2, and there are now three new IELTS Reading sections available. You will have access to all these materials when you enrol on the IELTS Online course.

Our online IELTS Master course offers you detailed and comprehensive preparation for the IELTS test in all four modules: Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading. This IELTS course includes IELTS practice tests, IELTS test tips, materials to teach you how to improve your performance in the test, with detailed feedback and model answers for all activities in each of the four modules. You will have your own online tutor who will give you personalised feedback on your assessment tasks when you enrol in the Speaking and Academic Writing modules of this IELTS course.

How do I start? IELTS Gym offers 2 types of online courses: one for students who have very little time to prepare and one for students who need to improve their band score. The courses are suitable for people with enough knowledge of English to get IELTS Band 4 and higher.

To use any of them, all you need is a computer with Internet access and speakers or headphones to hear listening exercises. Courses will help you improve your reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and listening skills.

IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication. IELTS is jointly managed by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL), British Council and IDP:IELTS Australia. IELTS conforms to the highest international standards of language assessment. It covers the four language skills - Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. All candidates take the same Listening and Speaking Modules. If you are planning to undertake academic study, it is recommended that you sit for the Academic Reading and Writing Modules. If you are planning to undertake non-academic training or apply for immigration into Canada or some other countries, it is recommended that you sit for the General Training Reading and Writing Modules. It is the responsibility of the candidate to determine which version, Academic or General Training, must be taken.

Applicants for the AMC examination or for specialist assessment MUST have: Completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination (Academic Module) and achieved a minimum score of 7.0 in each of the four components.
