Due to the multicultural nature of South African society, these families are very diverse in their ethnic origin, religion, age, and family situation. We will do our best to find a homestay which matches the students interests and preferences.
All homestays are visited and carefully chosen by our Student Services Department to ensure quality accommodation for the students. In a homestay the student will be provided with a furnished single room, with breakfast and dinner on weekdays and three meals on weekends (if you are at home).

W.W.O.O.F. stands for WILLING WORKERS ON ORGANIC FARMS. The scheme gives you the opportunity to live with New Zealand families. You work for them in exchange for your food and accommodation. You learn organic farming methods by helping on the farm and having 'hands on' experience.
It's a way to meet interesting people and practice your English (see Ngahape courses). It may also give you insights into alternative ways of living. You can become a member of WWOOF and receive a membership book. In the book each WWOOFing host has written a description of their farm, family and interests.
